Flower crowns traditionally shaped in a horseshoe or circular shape historically symbolise glory, eternity & power. These beauties adorned the heads of the gods of ancient Greece & Rome & many wore them to honour these gods & warriors in battle. 

The Victorian era reinforced the flower crowns as symbols of femininity and purity as women started wearing them on their  wedding day; started by Queen Victoria herself, who wore a crown of orange blossoms to wed Prince Albert in 1840.

Then we saw the flower children of the ‘70s with their botanical crowns as a way to express their connection to mother Earth and embody the ideals of their peace and love lifestyles.
